Today was a wet day when I arrived at the Fifty Acre Woods. Everything was very soggy very swampy so there wasn't going to be any getting the tractor out today. Instead I worked on trying to weatherproof the rear door of the container. After about four hours of working on it I think I'm happy with the results.

I was up early this morning to take Sae to the airport for her trip to Orlando. After dropping her off from the airport I got home about 6 am. Instead of going back to sleep my hopes was to get out to the Fifty Acre Woods early this morning.

After gathering supplies, gassing up and getting extra gas I was on my way. Stopped on the way to get water and arrived at the Fifty Acre Wood around 7:30. The task for the day was to get the tractor unstuck from last week. When I arrived I discovered that the ground was more saturated this weekend then it was last weekend so there was no hopes of getting the tractor out this weekend. Since I was up here I figured I would get the chainsaw out and cut up some of the trees that had fallen. After cutting some of the oak trees and trying to pile them up and almost getting the buggy and the truck stuck I decided the best decision was just to call it a day.

Made it to the land second week in a row awesome. Unfortunately the land was still wet but I fired up the tractor thinking maybe I could do some work but since the ground is really soft I decided not to for fear of getting the tractor stuck. I then decided to post some no trespassing signs so I got in the buggy and headed towards the north fence and was able to hang to no trespassing signs before I had to turn around do to water. This was a good time for lunch so I took a lunch break and rested awhile. After lunch I decided I would start smoothing out some of the home area grading the land where the house would go and I would move some of the dirt to the wet areas. I've decided to take another Approach at the grading and that's when trouble struck yes I got the tractor stuck. After 2 hours of time to free the tractor from the mud I think I only made it worse in the day and decided to call it a day.

I finished working on the firewood rack and have it ready for assembly at the Fifty Acre Wood. Today I transported the un-assembled firewood rack to the Fifty Acre Wood for storage until I have time to work assemble it.

I bought a new starter for the mule and the plan for today was to install the new starter and see if I can get the mule running again. Installation went well. After I got it installed I went to start the mule and the battery was dead. Great!. Now I had to make a trip to the local Walmart to pick up a new battery for the mule. After installing the new battery, the mule started right up without any problems.

The tractor has been sitting for over a month with out any activity. I wanted to start it and let it run a while just to move things around, but of course I had to charge the battery for a bit of time. Once I let it sit with the truck charging it, the tractor started without any issues. I'm going to have to break down and buy a new battery for the tractor one day. I had bought a new exhaust pipe for the one I lost on the tractor, but since the mule was not running again, I decided to go in search of the lost exhaust pipe. I could not believe my luck, I found it! I now have two exhaust pipes for the tractor and neither one of them are installed.
