Today was a beautiful day to be working at the Fifty Acre Woods. Before I could start working,  I had to replace the alternator on the tractor. After about an hour and a half struggling to get that to work, I finally got the tractor back in service. Now it was time do work.

I am trying to clear the land so we can lay some grass seeds and have better grass and a pastor of some sort. After a couple hours of working I needed to get gas for the tractor and it was about time for a break anyway.  After gassing up the tractor and going for lunch I took a little rest. After my rest I was ready to get back to work, went to start the tractor I was able to get about 30 minutes of work done before it stopped and wouldn't start again (I suspect it's the battery). I pulled the battery and I'll be replacing the battery the next time I come out here.

Today's trip to the Fifty Acre Woods was about finishing the grub work next to the garage / Barn. I worked about 2 hours until the tractor ran out of gas and that seemed like a good time for lunch. After coming back from lunch of course the tractor wouldn't start so I had to jump it while I was jumping it waiting for it to charge up I thought I would tighten the belt on the alternator maybe it would charge the battery better. As luck would have it it broke. I spent the next hour trying to take off the alternator after the previous owner had it on to the Tractor. Unable to fix the tractor on site I took all the parts and package them up and took them back home see if I can fix it. After that I started working on more framing of the container I got all the 10 foot boards cut to fit and all the boards cut to fit I just need to knock him out.

Overcast day and threat of rain but I decide to go to Fifty Acre Wood anyway. The tractor always needs a jump, so I parked next to it and hooked up the battery to the truck. I then started to open the container and get things ready for the days work.

First thing to do is hook the box blade back up to the tractor so I can start clearing the barn area. I cleared the barn area in about three hours, good for now. I plan to put some sand down then crushed limestone on top and add another shipping containers and connect the two.

After lunch break I worked on container framing for about about four hours, hung two sections.

Another trip to the 50 Acre Woods today. What if it's still wet no land work can be done but I decided I would try and work on framing the inside of the container. After reevaluating how I wanted to frame it I decided some locations had to come down. So I spent the afternoon undoing or taking down the previous put up studs and moving them down. I also bought all the framing I need it for finishing the main framing got some cutting done I need to finish some cutting at the end of the day I also reorganized the container.

First time back to the 50 Acre Woods in over a month. Last time I was up here I got the tractor stuck and spent the whole day trying to get it unstuck. Today I came back with reinforcements. I purchased a winch a receiver mount for the winch and a snatch block and was determined to get the tractor and stuck today. Since the winch and receiver were knew they were still in the box and would have to be assembled before use so I decided I would try and get the tractor out by itself since it had dried up some. After about an hour I gave up and decided to assemble the winch and the receiver. 30 minutes later I was ready to start pulling the tractor out but first I had to hook it all up that seem to be another 30 minutes. Finally the moment came and I had everything hooked up in about 5-10 minutes with the winch easy work. Spent the next hour putting all the supplies up and resting. After all this work believe it or not I'm worn out and calling it a early day
